My sweet mother has struggled with histoplasmosis (scar tissue in her lungs...therefore she has less lung capacity to work with) since she was a teenager. I have always known my mom to breath heavy when walking up the stairs or doing anything physical. My dad always had to push her from behind when walking up hills. When I was growing up, I never knew that moms could play sports or do any form of physical activity.
These past few months have been a big change in events with my moms health. She is heading to the hospital (again) for special tests and treatments for pulminary and lung issues in hopes to find an answer to her problems.
Mom I just want you to know how special and important you are to me. You truly do take things for granted when trials arent in your way. You have been such an example to me of patience, service, selflessness and strength. You possess so many Christlike qualitites and your heart is made of gold! I couldnt imagine life here on earth without you so I wont imagine that, but know that my heart is full of gratitude and love for you! Thoughts and prayers are with you...keep smiling!
I love you mom!
